Established in 1964, Shady Grove SUD supplies water to over 450 residents and businesses east of Greenville, Texas. We are a non-profit, member-owned corporation. Our goal is to provide safe, clean water to all of our residents. We purchase our water from the City of Greenville who in turn gets water from their reservoirs on the north side of town and Lake Tawakoni.
Our Pump Station on I-30 East was updated in 2008. We built a new office building in 2012 and tore down the old building which was formerly the Shady Grove Methodist Church. A maintenance building was completed on the old foundation in 2013. Our service department maintains around 45 miles of water lines in approximately 49 square miles.
